As Part of Strengthening Academic Collaboration: Dr. Reham Al-Asmar from Amman Arab University (AAU) Participates in Evaluating Architecture Graduation Projects at The Hashemite University
As part of Amman Arab University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening academic collaboration and fostering the exchange of expertise among Jordanian higher education institutions, and in line with the directives of the University President, Prof. Mohammad Al-Widyan, and the follow-up of Dr. Anwar Al-Assaf, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Reham Al-Asmar, Chair of the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, participated in the discussion and evaluation of graduation projects presented by students of the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering at The Hashemite University. Her participation came upon the invitation of Dr. Yahya Qteishat, Chair of the Department of Architecture at The Hashemite University.
This participation reflects Amman Arab University’s continuous efforts to strengthen academic partnerships among Jordanian universities and to support initiatives aimed at advancing the quality of architectural education. It also aligns with the University’s vision of promoting the exchange of academic and professional expertise and contributing to the assessment of students’ graduation projects in accordance with recognized academic and professional standards in the field of architecture.
During the evaluation sessions, Dr. Al-Asmar reviewed a distinguished selection of graduation projects that demonstrated a high level of creativity and innovation, highlighting the students’ ability to effectively integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application in addressing a wide range of architectural and design challenges. She commended the outstanding quality of the projects and praised the efforts of the faculty members in preparing and mentoring the students, emphasizing the significant role these efforts play in enhancing graduates’ readiness to enter the professional market.
This participation further underscores the Faculty of Engineering at Amman Arab University’s commitment to expanding cooperation with counterpart architecture departments at Jordanian universities, promoting the exchange of academic expertise, enhancing the quality of the educational process, and contributing to the preparation of a new generation of architects equipped with the creativity, competence, and professional skills required to excel in an increasingly competitive labor market.
