Al-Badawi from “Amman Arab University” Participates in an International Scientific Symposium
Under the guidance of Professor. Mohamad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and as part of a series of extracurricular activities, Amman Arab University participated in the work of the international scientific symposium entitled “Consumer Loans – What Protection?” with the participation of experts and academics from various fields of knowledge and organized by the Faculty of Legal and Economic Sciences at Cadi Ayyad University in Marrakesh – Morocco, and in partnership with Moroccan and Arab universities in the Arab world.
Amman Arab University was represented in the symposium by Dr. Ahmed Al-Badawi, a faculty member at the College of Law, with a scientific intervention entitled “Legal Guarantees to Control the Contractual Imbalance in Consumer Loan Contracts in Jordanian Law,” in which he spoke about the guarantees, including: the right to withdraw from the contract, And the obligation to inform the consumer, and to report the invalidity of arbitrary conditions in the Consumer Protection Law.
