Amman Arab University Launches “My University is My Home” Initiative

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, President of Amman Arab University, and represented by Professor Dr. Ismail Yamin, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, the Deanship of Student Affairs implemented the “My University is My Home” initiative in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Information Technology. The event was attended by Dr. Mohammed Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs; Dr. Rami Al-Hanandeh, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs; Mr. Tareq AL-Wreikat, faculty member at the College of Arts and Sciences; and a number of university students. This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by the university to enhance student participation in improving the campus environment and fostering a stimulating and safe educational atmosphere.

The initiative included volunteer activities involving students from various colleges, such as cleaning and painting university facilities, as well as placing educational posters and banners across the campus. These efforts aimed to strengthen students’ sense of belonging and responsibility toward their academic environment.

Dr. Bin Tarif praised the students’ active participation and efforts, emphasizing the importance of such activities in promoting positive values and a sense of belonging among students in a spirit of cooperation and volunteerism. He highlighted how these initiatives reflect their commitment to social responsibility and leadership. Dr. Al-Hanandeh, Assistant Dean, also commended the students’ enthusiasm and engagement with the initiative’s goals.

Amman Arab University continues to promote a culture of giving and community involvement through such programs, aligning with its mission to nurture a conscious and responsible generation capable of contributing to a better future.
