Amman Arab University Participates in Parliamentary Session on Student Engagement in Party Politics

Amman Arab University took part in a session organized by the Youth and Sports Committee of the House of Representatives, attended by committee members and several parliamentarians. The meeting focused on enhancing student involvement in partisan activities and promoting their participation in political life. The university was represented by Dr. Mohammed Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs.

This session aligns with the House of Representatives’ efforts to foster dialogue between legislative and academic institutions, supporting national initiatives within the framework of political modernization. Special emphasis was placed on youth and university students as key pillars in the future of partisan and political engagement in the Kingdom.

During the discussion, Dr. Bin Tarif stressed the importance of empowering students to actively participate in political party activities through a safe and encouraging university environment. He highlighted universities’ role in cultivating mature and balanced political awareness that aligns with Jordan’s values and principles. He also emphasized the need for an inclusive academic atmosphere that respects pluralism and fosters constructive dialogue, praising the ongoing cooperation between universities and official bodies in advancing political reform.
