Amman Arab University Signs International Academic Cooperation Agreement with Romania’s Bogdan Voda University under Erasmus+ Program
In line with its commitment to strengthening local and international partnerships that serve society and achieve sustainable development, Amman Arab University has signed an academic cooperation agreement under the Erasmus+ exchange program with Romania’s Bogdan Voda University in Cluj-Napoca. The agreement was signed by Amman Arab University President Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan and Bogdan Voda University President Dr. Mohammad Jaradat, in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Sehwail, Director of the International Office and External Relations.
Dr. Al-Widyan emphasized the importance of the university’s engagement with European higher education programs, particularly with Romanian institutions, highlighting the qualitative opportunities offered by Erasmus+ in enhancing academic collaboration between higher education institutions in EU countries. He noted the program’s provision of grants and exchange opportunities for faculty, staff, and students, which contribute to improving the quality of education and research.
The meeting discussed mechanisms to strengthen academic cooperation between the two universities, including faculty and student exchanges at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as support for joint international research projects. The signing ceremony also addressed the importance of organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops to strengthen bilateral relations and achieve the strategic goals of both institutions in the short and long term.
