Amman Arab University’s Delegate Riham Al-Asmar Develops Pioneering Tool to Measure Buildings’ Carbon Footprint in Jordan
Continuing its pursuit of excellence and commitment to attracting top talent, Amman Arab University celebrates the achievement of its PhD candidate Riham Al-Asmar, who was dispatched to University College London (UCL). Al-Asmar has developed a groundbreaking scientific tool to measure the carbon footprint of buildings in Jordan—the first of its kind locally—aiming to support environmental sustainability efforts in the construction sector.
This initiative falls within the framework of international research collaboration encouraged by University President Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widyan, aligning with the university’s strategic plan. The project contributes to advancing applied knowledge and addressing pressing environmental challenges.
